Let us remember...
71 years ago, American soldiers have lost their lives for our freedom. .
September 16th, 1944. The 35th Infantry Division crossed the Meurthe after liberating Nancy the day before .
September 21th, 1944. The fighting ceased. The village of Agincourt is liberated by the 35th Infantry Division after six days of fighting for a few square kilometers .
For the first time, we’ll honor these 69 GI's Americans died for our Freedom .
on Sunday, September 20th, 2015 in the village of Agincourt - Meurthe and Moselle – we unveiled a monument dedicated to the memory of the American soldiers of the 35th Infantry Division fallen for our freedom in September 1944.
